Made in Gouda by Leendert (Loets) de Vries. He started this one man company in Gouda in 1954 to 1959. Loets made everything himself including the casting, models and experimental glazes. These Loets de Vries items are very rarely seen for sale. Sadly Loets de Vries was killed in a road accident in Eastern Germany in 1959.
