Made by PZH for the Ivora factory. In 1926 Ivora contracted work out to PZH. These items did not have pattern names, identified only by the word "Princess" and a 4 digit number - here 1026. The number can be above, to the side or below Princess. Mould number of 803. Typical matte glaze and Gouda colours. No painters mark.

The Ivora Gouda factory was started in 1914 and closed in 1965. This factory was established under the name of Fa. P. van der Want Gzn, later Plateelfabriek Ivora fs. P.v.d.Want Gzn. Origins, however, go back to 1630 as a Goudse-pipenfabriek - a clay pipe maker.
